CHAPTER 9
LOVE MAKES US STRONG AND BRAVE

Love is a very special power that makes us strong and brave. When we love God, our family, and our friends, it helps us do big and sometimes scary things with courage.

Love Gives Us Strength
Sometimes we feel scared or nervous, but love helps us be strong inside. Knowing that God loves us and that we love others gives us power to keep trying and never give up.

Love Helps Us Be Brave
Being brave doesn't mean never feeling afraid. It means doing the right thing even when we feel a little scared. Love helps us stand up for friends, say sorry when we make mistakes, and be kind to others.

Examples of Love Making Us Brave
- Helping a friend who is lonely.
- Saying kind words when someone is sad.
- Telling the truth even when it's hard.
- Praying to God when we feel afraid.
- Sharing what we have with others.

A Story to Remember There was a little girl named Lily who was scared to speak in front of her class. But when she remembered how much God loved her and how much her family believed in her, she felt brave enough to stand up and share her story. Love made Lily strong and brave.

Closing Prayer
Dear God, thank You for Your love that makes me strong and brave. Help me to love others and be brave every day. Amen.
