Discernment is the ability to perceive, understand, and judge situations wisely. In a family context, it means recognizing the needs, emotions, and perspectives of each member, and making thoughtful decisions that promote unity and harmony.

Why Is discernment crucial for family oneness?
Promotes understanding: Discernment helps family members see beyond surface disagreements and understand the underlying feelings or intentions. Once you master discernment, you will have fewer conflicts.

Try to look beyond actions, consider the root cause of actions. If you are a married man, ask yourself 'Why is my wife behaving the way she does?' And also get to know how you contributed to the issue at hand, in that way, it becomes easy to resolve conflicts and exercise forgiveness where actions clash with intentions.

Encourages wise decision-making: Families often face choices that affect everyone. Discernment ensures that decisions consider the well-being of all members, not just individual preferences. To ensure unity in the family, every member of the family must be treated with love and honour. It is easy to follow leaders who understand the value of collective decision-making; This breeds happiness in the family because everyone contributes to the betterment of the family.
